An actual interview conversation:
An Interview with an Executive Struggling to Land Their Next Role

Can you relate?

Executive Job Seeker:

Every week without a job offer feels like lost income and momentum. It’s been months since I began the job search process, and so far, I’ve sent out hundreds of resumes with hardly any responses. When I do get a response, I don’t seem to get the offer. Either they say they have other people to interview and I was one of the first, or I don’t hear a thing, then later I hear they went with someone who was a better fit. I feel like I’ve lost my mojo. I’m not sure if I have what it takes to compete. I’m great at what I do for a living, but interviewing is new for me. So, I’m looking for someone who can help me get through this challenge in my life.

Chief Coaching Officer:

How is this affecting your income level? Did you receive a severance package?

Executive Job Seeker:

Yes, I did, but it’s beginning to dwindle. Soon I’ll have to start dipping into my savings to maintain my current lifestyle. I’ve got kids in college and a wife who just went back to school to get her master’s.

Chief Coaching Officer:

Is this affecting your relationship?

Executive Job Seeker:

Yes, because we’ve had to start conserving our spending until I land another role. She isn’t working, so it all falls on me.

Chief Coaching Officer:

How about your sleep?

Executive Job Seeker:

I sleep alright, but when I wake up and realize I still don’t have a job, I feel butterflies in my chest.

Chief Coaching Officer:

Okay, what happens if you don’t get a job within the next six months?

Executive Job Seeker:

Then I’m toast. Most of my savings will be gone, and my wife will have to give up her education plans to go back to work until we can save enough money for her to return to school for her master’s.

Chief Coaching Officer:

What would you wish would happen?

Executive Job Seeker:

Ha… that’s a funny question. You know what I’m going to say. I want to land an executive role within the salary range I’ve grown accustomed to.

Chief Coaching Officer:

What have you done to reach that goal?

Executive Job Seeker:

Ha, you’re being really funny today… I’ve done everything. I’ve sent out resumes, networked, called around, sent out more resumes. I even paid someone $400 to redo my resume. I worked on my LinkedIn page. I mean, everything I could think of. Yet nothing changed. I had some interviews for jobs I really wanted, but I was either the first to interview or they didn’t select me for the role. I don’t know why.

Chief Coaching Officer:

Do you think getting help from someone who has guided and coached hundreds of executives to land their dream roles, secure the salaries they deserve, and transform into leaders who command the room would be worth your time?

Executive Job Seeker:

Well, that depends on the price.

Chief Coaching Officer:

What is the price of not getting a role like your last one? Are you willing to wait six more months?

My coaching program is not for everyone—it’s for people ready to put everything they’ve got into achieving a true transformation within themselves and the way they command the room in front of an executive search panel/board.

We start with mindset. Why mindset? If we were to listen back to your story at the beginning of this conversation, we’d hear your frustrations and fear. One of the reasons you’re not being selected is that they’re looking for someone confident and self-assured, someone they can hand over the keys to the car that drives their operations. You may feel you’re portraying confidence, but you’re faking it. People are smart, and they can sniff that out.

Next, we work on your return-on-investment background, using strategies that no one else is teaching to help you gain the confidence and admiration of the hiring manager. Most people are excellent at what they do, but they haven’t been educated on how to sell themselves to total strangers, convincing them to hand over six figures to run their ship. Think about that.

Executive Job Seeker:

I never thought about it that way, but you are right.

Chief Coaching Officer:

We work on Mindset, Presidential Messaging, the OMC Chart (a tool you can use forever), Executive Storytelling, Strategic Conversations, Winning over the Panel Interview, Owning the Room, catapulting past your competition, and ultimately winning the role.

Not only that, your executive transformation will build your confidence even further when it comes time to step into your new position. Our program has a 98% success rate—the 2% who did not succeed were simply not prepared to do the work required for total transformation.

This is not a generic program. You are hiring someone who can elevate your confidence, teach you to speak effectively about your return on investment, align you with organizational culture, win over a panel of diverse personalities, and position you to be pursued by multiple organizations at the same time. It works every time.

Executive Job Seeker:

“You know what, you’re right. I can see now that I’ve been trying to fake confidence instead of truly owning it. That’s probably why I keep getting overlooked. I don’t want to waste another six months sending out resumes and hoping for the best. If your program can help me rebuild my confidence, command the room, and finally land the kind of role I deserve, then I’m ready to do the work. I can’t afford to keep losing time, money, and momentum, I need this transformation now."

Chief Coaching Officer:

“Are you ready to transform yourself right now?”
